William C. Laufer


William C. Laufer’s feature film, Christmas At Maxwell’s received a theatrical release nation wide.  He served as Writer/Director/Co-Producer and actor.  Bill has produced both feature and documentary films to include The Acorn Penny, If You Listen and The Lost Sparrows of Roodepoort.  He is the founding artistic director of the Saint Ann Orchestra and the Ohio Philharmonic Orchestra as well as a founding member of the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival.  He has been involved with various cultural groups to include the Cleveland Institute of Music and L’Arche Cleveland. 

As an MBA CPA film producer, Bill is a consultant to filmmakers and speaker for arts groups.  William received his MBA at CWRU and undergraduate degree in Economics from Georgetown University.

Tiffany Ann Laufer



Tiffany Ann Laufer is an award winning director with the courage and talent to tell stories of change with a special combination of humanity and a touch of magic that makes life worth watching. Having graduated with an MFA from The American Film Institute in Cinematography, Tiffany has a keen eye for light, composition and movement that can only highlight a story’s full meaning and potential.  As seen in the award winning short, The Acorn Penny, Tiffany pays homage to a storytelling based on a pure visual medium.  The Acorn Penny recently won 1st place at the Twin Rivers Media Festival.

Tiffany Ann Laufer has directed various actors including FRED ARMISEN (Saturday Night Live); DAVE HILL (the Dave Hill Explosion) and JACK HOURIGAN (Food Network Co-host).  Her foray into television directing can be seen at the pilot JOURNEY TO YOUR PLATE.  Visit IMDB for further credits.

Tiffany also writes and illustrates children’s books. Tiffany is an active alumni member of Laurel School and also serves in an advisory capacity for Northeast Ohio’s branch of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Books Writer’s and Illustrators).

Laufer Film is a collaborative film production team of father & daughter, William C. Laufer and Tiffany Ann Laufer.  As Laufer Film, they co-produced the theatrically released feature film “Christmas at Maxwell’s” and have recently completed “Honor Society” now in the festival circuit.

Laufer Film is a member of COSE and has worked extensively with corporate and nonprofit organizaitons to bring their vision to the screen.
